EarthAlert is an earthquake information app, not an early-warning or emergency service. USGS data can be delayed, revised or incomplete.

Optional notifications depend on permission, your location and when iOS allows background checks. Delivery may be delayed or missed. After force-quitting the App or restarting your device, reopen it to resume checks. Do not rely on EarthAlert for immediate safety decisions.

Follow official local earthquake and tsunami guidance. A tsunami-information flag in a USGS record is not a tsunami warning.
